Class of 1966 Celebrates Birthday over Two Days
That Fortier High School Class of 1966 was at it again celebrating their 70th. birthday Saturday April 7, 2018 with a "you should have been there supper" at the Heritage Grill in Metairie, followed Sunday, April 8th. with a beautiful brunch at the Chateau Country Club in Kenner.
Attendance was terrific with approximately 60 on Saturday night and 50 Sunday. Bruce Hirsch and Karen Smith continue to be outstanding hosts. Bruce gave a rousing welcome speech Saturday evening and Karen was her usual vivacious self meeting everybody as they came in and catching up. Saturday night's festivities were topped off with a special Silver & Blue Birthday Cake. Thanks to Dvosha Goldberg for the special cake.
